Wearing the Red Ribbon has become a symbol for the drug-free movement. Everyone will be given red ribbons to wear all week. Red Ribbon Numbers will be called during homebase from Tuesday thru Friday. Man with the Red Bandana Assembly
The tragic events of 9/11 affected the lives of Americans all over our great country. There were many people who showed heroic acts of bravery namely, the firefighters, police officers and port authority personnel and countess others. But there were many other people, exceptional people, who also displayed courage in the midst of the panic, confusion and tragedy. And it is because of those people, that selflessly gave of themselves, that thousands of people lived. This is the true definition of the word, “hero”. Welles Crowther was that person. Today, FMS honors Welles Remy Crowther.
